Who May Enter
The Sweepstakes is open to residents of the fifty (50) United States plus the District of Columbia who are at least 13 years of age as of December, 20th 2021.
Employees of Truth Initiative, their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses), and persons living in the same household of an employee of Truth Initiative (whether related or not) are not eligible to win a prize.

How to Enter
Eligible participants shall visit www.thetruth.com/mentalhealth and then complete the form during the Promotion Period to be entered into the Sweepstakes.
The Promotion Period shall begin at 12:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time on December, 25th 2021 and shall end at 11:59 pm Eastern Daylight Time on January 31st, 2022. Truth Initiative’s computers shall serve as the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
Alternatively, individuals may enter the Drawing by mailing a 3” x 5” card containing the phrase “Mental Health Giveaway” along with the entrant’s name, mailing address, telephone number and email address to truth Mental Health Giveaway, Truth Initiative, 900 G St. NW, Washington, DC 20001.
An eligible participant may enter the Sweepstakes only once.
Each participant acknowledges that he/she has read, understands and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. By submitting an entry, you warrant that your entry complies with all the requirements set out in these Official Rules.
Prizes
At the end of the Promotion Period (but no later than March 1st, 2022), Truth Initiative will select 25 eligible participants at random to win a custom truth merch pack that can include a t-shirt, sunglasses, hats, and socks.
The retail value of each prize is $65
Truth Initiative will contact the winners via the email addresses associated with the winning entries. The winners will be contacted on or before March 1st, 2022.
Within seven days of notice being sent to the winners that they have won a prize, each winner must reply to Truth Initiative to accept the prize.
In the event any winner does not accept the prize after several reasonable attempts, Truth Initiative reserves the right to select an alternate winner or not award the prize.
The prizes are not transferable, nor are there substitutions or cash redemptions, except at Truth Initiative’s discretion if any of the prizes becomes unavailable. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
Chances of Winning
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY.
A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
The odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries received.
Winners
Only the selected winners will be notified of the Sweepstakes outcome. You may also request a winners list by sending an email to winners@thetruth.com or via mail to Truth Initiative at the address stated above, which is received by Truth Initiative no later than May, 30th 2022.
Other Important Information
Truth Initiative’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
Entries become the property of the Truth Initiative and will not be returned.
Truth Initiative is not liable for lost, late, illegible, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect entries.
No mechanically reproduced entries or faxes will be accepted.
Truth Initiative is not responsible for any tampering with this Sweepstakes (e.g., hackers, viruses, automated entry devices, and other). Truth Initiative reserves the right to terminate or modify the Sweepstakes at any time in case of technical failures or other issues outside of its control. Truth Initiative also reserves the right to disqualify anyone who violates these Official Rules.
The information Truth Initiative collects about entrants through this Sweepstakes will be used for the purposes of this Sweepstakes. In addition, participants will be added to Truth Initiative’s email distribution list, unless they ask not to be added. In addition, participants may unsubscribe at any time by following the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email from Truth Initiative. All information collected by Truth Initiative via this Sweepstakes will be governed by the Truth Initiative’s privacy policy located at https://www.thetruth.com/privacy-policy.
By entering this Sweepstakes, all entrants agree to release and hold harmless Truth Initiative, and its officers, directors, employees and agents, from all claims, losses, damages and liabilities arising out of their participation in this Sweepstakes and the acceptance of any prize awarded hereunder.
This Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The forum for any dispute shall be in Washington, D.C.
