Ohio’s AG has been a real leader in reducing the impact of tobacco product on young Ohioans. While the state doesn’t currently prohibit the sale of flavored tobacco products – they must follow the federal laws around tobacco product marketing approval and not selling products to anyone under 21. A few communities in the state – Bexley, Columbus, and Toledo – have passed their own laws prohibiting the sale of some flavored tobacco products

OH truth Ambassador – Jordan Young

Jordan has been involved with truth for 3 years, has participated in Moments of Action and is passionate about educating his peers. Jordan is motivated by his faith in his activism work, saying “As a believer in and follower of Jesus Christ, I am an ambassador for truth in the most absolute sense.”

AG Shoutout – Dave Yost

In July of 2024, Ohio AG Dave Yost launched a campaign to prevent young people from addiction and related health risks. The campaign targeted sellers of illegal vapes, and Yost filed complaints against 3 Ohio businesses for unfair or deceptive practices under the state Consumer Sales Practices Act.
