Ohio’s AG has been a real leader in reducing the impact of tobacco product on young Ohioans. While the state doesn’t currently prohibit the sale of flavored tobacco products – they must follow the federal laws around tobacco product marketing approval and not selling products to anyone under 21. A few communities in the state – Bexley, Columbus, and Toledo – have passed their own laws prohibiting the sale of some flavored tobacco products

Former OH truth Ambassador – Jordan Young
Jordan was involved with truth for 3 years, has participated in Moments of Action, and is passionate about educating his peers. Jordan is motivated by his faith in his activism work.
In July of 2024, Ohio AG Dave Yost launched a campaign to prevent young people from addiction and related health risks. The campaign targeted sellers of illegal vapes, and Yost filed complaints against 3 Ohio businesses for unfair or deceptive practices under the state Consumer Sales Practices Act.
