Georgia has long been an active state for social justice advocacy and public health. Home of the CDC and some of the strongest examples of community organizing in our movement, advocates are keeping up the momentum in the Peach State.
In the state, retailers are required to hold a license to sell some – but not all – tobacco products. Georgia doesn’t currently have any statewide laws restricting flavored tobacco products – but has made moves on restricting e-cigarette sales near public property, playgrounds, and schools.
