Walmart will stop the sale of cigarettes in some of its stores in California, Florida, Arkansas, and New Mexico!
The move is Walmart's latest change to their tobacco policies. In 2019 they raised the minimum age to buy tobacco to 21 and stopped selling e-cigarettes. Sam's Club, owned by Walmart, has also gradually stopped selling cigarettes in some stores in recent years.
While this is a step in the right direction, we won't rest until cigarette sales end in all Walmart stores.
